Introducing Jenny’s Top 8 SHOP SHOP !! As in, you wanna go for a little shop shop? I love shopping, honestly I always have, MY ENTIRE LIFE. I love shopping with other people. I love picking out the perfect item for a friend. My mind is made up of a neural network of small boutiques across the US. I don’t know why my mind works like this, it just does.
To me shopping and psychology have always been intertwined. My mother said to me once, everything you love (acting, clothes, design, photography, writing, psychology) all line up, you never cared that much about designer things or what everyone else was wearing, you cared about the exploration of how you were perceived by self and other in a certain outfit. Shopping is self exploration, the exploration of ourselves in the world; it is play and creativity. I love shopping for the same reason that I loved acting or taking photos; it allows us to explore parts of self that we maybe don’t have words for yet.
So I am extra excited that the first SHOP SHOP that I am featuring is CALLEEN CORDERO. It is so fitting to highlight this remarkable woman who has been creating stunning art that we get to wear, carry, and gaze upon for the past twenty five years. I always have a Calleen piece on or nearby. I even have Calleen coasters on the bedside tables! Over the past fifteen years I have had many EVERY SINGLE DAY CALLEEN’S - The Cadet boots with every single outfit for maybe two years straight, the black and gold wallet, the GRACE flats, and The Hola handbag, to name a few.

The Mexico Art Square Sandal! On SALE! My plan is to kick around in Calleen sandals all summer with jeans and flower dresses. I’m doing Calleen Cordero 2025 summer.
The Papi Sandal <3 See. I’m sandal obsessed. I’m summer ready. The Papi is a collaboration with an all women artisan collective in the mountains of Chiapas. This is a super special Calleen classic that is making a comeback; lucky for us! This is number one on my WANT list!!!
The Jem Crossbody. I have one in red. Truly outrageous, speaks for itself!
THE GRACE FLATS ARE BACK. After a ten year hiatus Calleen has started making these flats again. I instantly picked up a pair in black this time. I love to wear them with track pants and t shirts, but obviously you can wear them with anything at all.
The Karma Sandal. It’s no surprise that Calleen is known for her sandals. She has put so much time and attention into their comfort and their style. You can wear a sandal in Los Angeles at least half the year and that means that you can get creative with how you style all of them. The Karma with a sundress though… chef’s kiss.
A greater shoe and bag duo has never existed than The Krissy Loafer and The Lexus Messenger !!! I mean honestly, can you think of one? Style business meeting, sun dress, all denim Ted Danson style, high low with a t shirt and jeans or high high with that matching pant suit. I love that Calleen has made a product that is very much her and yet so versatile for us to integrate into our own style.
Okay Take NOTES with this little bring it with you everywhere CORAZON Notebook. I am a real believer in a pen and paper. I jot down notes constantly about to do’s, quotes, insights about the psyche, ideas for my book, everything! I sometimes just need to get the nonsense out of my head to make space for one little good idea to get through. And what’s a better reminder to us humans than a heart.
Calleen reminds me over and over that if you create from the heart you will always speak to someone, and that someone is ME!!
