Stacey Mann & Summer Phoenix
Owners STAY. Zero Proof Cocktail Lounge in Historic Chinatown.
Stacey Mann
I always start my day with…
A cup of Joshua Tree “Delicious Decaf” coffee. I don’t drink caffeine. Me on caffeine is just not necessary!
Where were you raised? Has the landscape of that place influenced your work in any way?
I love to say I “Grew Up” in the West Village NYC. Of course it did influence me, in every way possible. Especially that my family owned a World Famous Jazz Club, Sweet Basil, on 7th Avenue South and Bleeker streets. I had no idea that this iteration of my life would lead me to be a bar owner, albeit a niche, zero proof, concept, making it as unique as my teen years in NYC.
What was the last thing you fell in love with?
Chanel lipstick. Who knew! (Gift from Danny and I know, it’s silly)
